We age premium Basmati long grain rice to intensify the aromatic qualities (Aged 2 years): Every Farmer has a patch of land where he grow crops. For his own family, he he will not spray fertilizers. We buy the rice from one such farm in Dehradun.
Grown in the fertile soil of the Himalayan foothills, Basmati Rice is nourished by the pure waters of the highest snow-covered peaks in the world. All cultivation is done by hand without use of any pesticides. Various plants traditionally used for pest control are grown in the paddy fields, natural anti parasite substances such as ash and cow urine is used.
